A staged offer for channel partners
On September 21, 2026, Lenovo announced that Schneider Electric would join Lenovo 360 Circle as a strategic ally. Eligible members of the IT channel community are to receive emissions-management tools and specialist support through Schneider Electric’s Decarbonization Champion initiative.

Measurement before implementation
The announced process combines training, a Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions baseline, planning and subsequent action. Advisory support includes a remote site audit, a strategy workshop and a decarbonization roadmap. Partners would then implement priorities and track progress.
Lenovo says recognition follows completion of the education and measurement stages. Rebate opportunities are conditional on implementing eligible Schneider Electric solutions. Neither provision should be read as a guarantee of emissions savings.

For procurement teams assessing an IT service partner, the useful question is what evidence the proposed work will produce. Ask which sites and activities are covered, which reporting period will be used, and who is responsible for collecting and checking the underlying data. Keep the baseline and later results comparable.
Treat training credentials, a completed assessment and delivered emissions reductions as separate milestones. A supplier can document participation in a programme without yet demonstrating a reduction at a particular customer site. Request the methodology, assumptions and supporting records behind any project-specific claim.
Before agreeing a timetable or budget, confirm membership eligibility, service scope, fees, rebate conditions and implementation responsibilities with the programme operator. Tie proposed equipment or operational changes to a documented business case, including measurement arrangements after installation. These are evaluation questions for buyers, not a statement that LANGOM participates in either partner programme or that every applicant qualifies.
